Day Two - work in the dirt

I drove by the lot at 5:30 today and there were about 6 guys hard at work on my lot so I drove off with plans to go back later to look around and get my daily progress pictures.  Well my husband, kids and I went back at 7:30 and they were still there!  That's a long day, and it was cold out there this evening, but so glad that progress was being made.

First thing I noticed was that the hole was much bigger - I thought yesterday that they may not have been finished digging and I was right.  They had also put up the wood "base" around the perimeter of the house (don't know technical terms yet) but I didn't see any concrete for the footers.

This is fun!  Can't wait to see tomorrow and Friday's progress :)
