Well, digging is not going to happen today - it will be tomorrow. My plan was to drive by the lot on my way home from work and be surprised with a big hole in the ground. Of course I could not wait and I emailed PM "checking in" and asking if he had any kind of rough draft schedule for this week.
He replied with our schedule:
Tuesday - excavation
Wednesday - footing
Thursday - wall
Friday - strip forms off
Next Friday (4/12) - lumber drops; should see a whole house a week after that
On a positive note, I appreciated PM's quick response to my email!
So - fingers crossed the weather stays nice and that there won't be any issues with crew/labor shortages (because they are building a lot of houses right now).
